I am used to 345mm brakes which were a lot sharper than the 312's

Although the 312's are much better than 288mm's

I'm surprised you let her drive the car with the Monzas on it  lol

I have a Leon which is mk4 based and I find the brakes much sharper than the gti mk6 ones. Was a bit of a shock brake feel wise getting back into the mk6

was out today for a blast and the standard brakes are pish

I have a Leon which is mk4 based and I find the brakes much sharper than the gti mk6 ones. Was a bit of a shock brake feel wise getting back into the mk6

Maybe the golf is set up different to the Rocco then as mine are stupidly sharp !

WHAT! let her drive with the monza's on "you gotta be kidding me"

I let her have a go when I first picked it up when it had the Seattles....I was constantly kissing the windscreen, I kept telling her to feather the brakes, and all I kept hereing was "I am...I am"

i wonder if some are set to level 2 or something cos mine need to be stamped on

i wouldn't say the pedal feel is any more spongey than any other car but the brakes seem require a lot of effort to work.
