Thought I'd pop in and say hi as I've just picked up the wife a Mk3 8v GTi 5 door. This is an addition to the expanding selection of project cars we have including my 1989 Clipper GTi:
Plans for the Mk3? Well, it's a little grubby at the mo so looking to replace the interior with that from a Mk1 Octavia vRS, tasty wheels, coilovers, painted engine, clean the bodywork and a full respray, potentially in satin black or Black Magic metallic.
Really into my detailing and won a few trophies for show and shine/best car for other cars in the past as well as having 2 front page features on my my old Saxo VTS with both Performance French Cars and FastCar magazines.
Hoping to have the Clipper tidied up and the work on the Mk3 completed by VWFestival at Harewood House this year.
