Unless it is going in a high performance engine (which it's not, it's a French bit of crap! no disrespect stainesy) then who the fvck cares??? I have always serviced my cars regularly, but I have never cared what oil I put in them, used to cost £8.50 for 5 litres of whatever crap was on the shelf, I used to put diesel oil in petrol engines because I had it, never done any of them any harm. oil is oil!

Only once have I ever known a problem because of using the wrong oil, that was a ford escort and ford had specified the wrong oil, it was too thick so the engine wouldn't rev over 4000 rpm changed it to thinner stuff and it was fine.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good!
