I like my mk2's and mk1's i think they are much better than a mk3 anyday

if you dont like it take your horse and 0 - 60s figures write em down and stick um so far up your arse they tickle your tonsils. If you have a mk3 then good for you leave me to enjoy the dubs i like most

PS my speedo was out by -4 mph (not over), most of the way through the range including upto 90 - 100 mph, measured with GPS.

When I fitted 17" alloys speedo was spot on!

We're all here for the same purpose, hobby, interests, etc. in VW Golfs, so what the petty arguments about. Go start up a mk2 only forum if you think they're that great & so much better than other models. I own a mk3, and I agree on the track, the lighter mk2 car would win a lap, because of braking and cornering, but there's no need to carry on about it, in the every day real world, I'd prefer a mk3 for a much more modern image, but very similar performance.

If most people embraced the humour of these p1ss takes and didn't bite back then half of these threads wouldn't happen in the first place. It's the reaction that people want and invariably people do react, the perfect examples of not reacting are wotto and count, they give as good as they get and I can't remember either of them getting upset about it.  wotto is always taking the p1ss out of my "green skip" and it makes me laugh that there can be good humoured banter between us. Some of you lot must have been bullied in the playground to react like you do.  That's my two penneth for what it worth.

......now officially dubless.
