on the clock maybe. You have to account for inaccuracies being increased the farther up the reading you go.

Therefore matey, i am afraid you are only doing about 115mph.  :smiley:

Come on lads get over it, we all know that the mk2 16v IS the best gti out of the lot of them end of,  In my eyes the mk3 is jst fat ugly, myself mk2 anyday of the week.

Then again i drive an RS Turbo but hey thats jst me  :kiss:

i would say his speedo is optimistic but top speeds can be conservative. i know my daily driver is rated at 4mph lower than my top speed so far, and the car was still accelerating (i gave up cause i got defeaned).
