new Job - tech / gadget heads, lend me your ideas
« on: 10 March 2012, 10:43 »
Mods remove if need be - no stress!

So I have just started a new job out in the reseller world. My background is in IT distribution, but after the last 6 years of it, I copped the hump and was about to throw it in, when a customer poached me!

I am now a "new brands manager" for www.globalape.com - not worth looking at, at the moment as there is bugger all on there.

My job entails finding new bits, listing them on the site and hopefully making some monies.

Now after the last week my mind is all dried up and my eyes hurt from hitting the internet hard looking at everything.

SO the favour is, if you guys have any ideas or see something you would possibly buy put it up here? I'm not expecting masses of stuff, but it would be quite nice to see other peoples take on what is a good product.

So far there is just ink listed from our sister site cartridge king.

next week there will be some integral flash memory going up. Then it will be some headphones if they work for our model - I have a supplier account for monster headphones and I-go which are good stuff. Then printers, sat navs - anything goes really!

Thanks in advance for this!

Nope, but thankyou for your valuable input - reason for the ask is although I have a million things going round my head and ideas it's always good to get other peoples views, always had good experiences with this forum, but there do seem to be a few more negative types on nowadays. Like I said MODS - if it's an issue delete away and let me know.

RE the 3D printers  - they are ace, been looking through the article on CNET here

Unreal!

First demo product / blag recieved!

Juicy "scented" headphones. Box is scented not the phones, but come in a range of colours to match the scent - purple = grape, yellow = bannana. Big sound, different tips and fun packaging. Sub £20 RRP too. Not going to impress any audiophiles out there, but I think they're pretty good and would make a good gift.

No idea wand we're in the middl eof switching brands as Sandisc no longer make a type 2 card which is what we need to use. I'll see if I can find out and let you know.

You're essentially looking for slightly different products people might want?

I'll reply here or pm you anything not quite ordinary that I come across
