What about a vento? 1.9 diesels seem to be dirt cheap and it's not a mk3 golf (sort of)

And they do a VR vento of you're that way inclined.

dont forget folks, my b3, the mk2 auto and polo loon were all under £500  :wink:

tand my budget isnt much more than that

the only Diesel would be a Van,  :wink:

What about the V6 Passat Syncro in the classifieds?  :wink: I did point it out to DH, but Liverpool might be a little far from IOW...

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
