Check the mileage against mot records if all good then go for it, budget to sort the cambelt, service history is nice but some people tend not to worry too much about it.

Definatly check the MOT's mate as I didn't and was made to regret it as the car had been clocked and involved in an accident and I paid £8000 for mine I was gutted only found out when I was taking it for a dsg service at Vw. Managed to get my money back though as I bought it from a dealer and now I got another one and love it

Well yes and no he had to get a deposit for a house ASAP so back against the wall

still I'm glad I went to have a look it's made my mind up that I want one 

Just need to find a good one for the six k mark lol
