thanks guys (good advice)
« on: 08 March 2012, 19:56 »
hi guys i read post's about fault code readers and you guys are always banging on about problems and first thing that is said is have you scanned for codes, now i had an old fault code reader given to me and would show faults but would not erase them so i read about fault code readers and a lot of you guys recomended the u281 from ebay and at £20 its as cheap as chips, well i ordered one and it came today so i tested it on my golf and brought up just the one code which was listed as a bad earth or something or the other i think i was hoping for more codes then again why would i as its a good thing, then decided to see if it worked on my 2002 ford galaxy diesel and it works on that now old one wouldnt even read codes on galaxy so a very happy bunny i cleared 3 fault codes of that need to take them both for a spin to see if thay return, but again thanks for recomendations best £20 ive spent well £30 if you include the t shirt i treated myself to.
