Transmission rattle.

Hi, I'm currently in the market for a Mark 5 Golf and I've been chatting with an owner who is selling. He tells me that there is a very small rattle coming from the dsg box while in park. After doing as much searching as I can I'm worried that it could be the start of the dual mass flywheel beginning to part ways with the car. Do any of you here have experience of this happening on your own cars ? If so, how much did it cost to fix it and how big a job is it ?

It was a 2005 model with 57k but I've decided to hang back and wait for a newer model, I've waited a long time so another month won't make much difference. Hate messing people about though, feels crap.

Walk away and find another, not going to be a cheap or easy fix.
