BBS Wheels
« on: 08 March 2012, 10:46 »
I have a set of RA's on my car at the moment but i was thinking of going for a set of RS's with a bit of a deeper dish to them? I only really want to go with BBS as it keeps the more factory look to the car.

Can anyone give me any pointers as to what to look out for ie size's widths and so on.

Im not really sure what will fit my car or how wide to go with a 20 to 40 mm drop?

...or if i should just keep the RA's on it and nothing at all?

Thanks

Mint RA's with new centre caps, the correct sized 185-55-15 tyres and standard suspension. Job done.

You won't get any scene points, but you will get a nod of approval from those that know.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I don't think RAs look right on a lowered car.

Saw this the other day and think it looks great lowered on the ra's:

My coilovers are going on at the weekend and i'm looking out for rm's/rs's at the mo. Not cheap for a decent set though :( sure ill get stick for doing this to my car too but its exactly that, my car, knowone elses. If you wanna do it, go for it. Wheels and suspension are reversable at the end of the day
