Its something that I'm sure very soon will be unavoidable. It will be all over the news. Posters plastered over towns.

Spend 30mins watching this! Powerful stuff. http://vimeo.com/37119711

I've done a bit of reading around this, as I often struggle to trust these sort of things.
I'm surprised this is only receiving wide recognition now - I thought it was common knowledge that people knew about this sort of thing was happening, all over Africa.

Apparently this objective is about 7 years too late. Apparently he's had most of his power and resources stripped and is hiding in some unknown African destination.
According to a few other sources, Uganda has been free of the LRA for over 5 years, and Invisible Children even admit it when asked, just not in the video that thousands of people are watching, and millions (I suppose) will watch.

Well if the efforts focused or Syria you would be saying what about Uganda or North Korea or such and such? At least they have started somwhere.

There has been alot of blogging about the wage the 3 guys in charge get, $90,000 dollars each per year according to there charity returns on the american charity website thingy (like out reg charity no. thing) and people are putting them down about this. I think is completely wrong. You cant survive on nothing which it sounds like these guys have done for a long time and now they have families etc to bring up and are effectivly ceo's and directors is there own 'company'. What are peoples opinions on this?

So they should. They work hard. Help people.

This is what i'm saying. Another big factor will be shaking off the 'hippy' connotations of Aid workers to appeal to US politicians. Who would you listen to? Shaggy esq charater in a beaten up pannel van or a well presented guy in a nice car with the latest phone or whatever.. I think it is right for them to take a tiny tiny cut of the $7.5 million they apparently have banked and are waiting to put to use.
