Head unit went bang
« on: 06 March 2012, 23:34 »
Now i have no audio

What should i be looking at, cant work out which fuse it is, apparently might be 2?

No fuses in back of headunit itself, (non OEM and rubbish tbh) could this of had it?

Wiring a bit of a mess behind there, got 2 components in doors run off a small amp and 2 rear speakers working off head unit if that helps

Check for power to the headunit with a testlamp that will confirm if the wiring / fuses are ok.

+1 you should have a constant from the battery, and one feed from the ignition.

Read something about removing 2 fuses and must both be out at the same time?
