Metal water pipe?

Is the metal water pipe on the 16v the same as the one on the 8v??

Just trying to order a replacement

Different, diff part numbers, different pipe! just different 

Do yourself a favour fella use the search function type in water pipe!

And there are 2 types of 16v pipe.

Early >89 - 027121065K
Late 90> - 027121065P

The early type you might be able to get.  I got a couple just before christmas.  The late one is almost impossible to find new. 

Early one is the same as the late one in dimensions but you need to blank of an outlet.

Smiffy - sorry to say I checked where I got my early pipe from (VW classic parts via VW heritage) and its out of stock.  So if they can get one you'll be looking about a month.

Whats the point being here if you dont get invovled?
I'm not having ago loads of people need help like you did?
But when you only pop in when some states water pipe I have to say why?
All I remember is that you wanted members to ask VAG to make more pipes fine, but at least contribute to other issues on here?
I looked at all of your previous posts and well?
You obviously love the MK2, but how about hanging around and post on a different subject thread?

Thanks for your help on this - I'll get onto VW Heritage and see what they can do.

I've not long had the 16V and so I'm still learning about the things you can still get via the likes of GSF, VWH and Euro Parts.....I'd really like to keep the VAG'd up.
