Newbie Golf GTI Owner
« on: 06 March 2012, 14:27 »
Hello!!!!

I've just brought myself a MK4 Golf GTI - I love it... but need some help and advised really!!!!!
The guy I brought it from took the airflow meter and box out but didn't replace the actual airflow meter, I've now done this but my poor car keeps cutting out and saying ''emissions workshop'' theres no codes when I plug a OBD reader in, and its making an awful horrid noise....

Any one had this before????

Any help would be much appreicated

Hello.

You bought the wrong one.  You should have got the 1.8t.

i'm thinking it's more than just this if it's cutting out. Once the garage done this, get them to check it over as this might not solve the problem
