Hi about to purchase a mk6 gtd and what is the best for cleaning and making the exchuast tips shiny?
If you cant find it......Grind it

No need for any of that, it's a new car so they will be spotless to begin with.

You'll get very little soot build up from the CR engine, so regular washing should be all that's needed, with a going over with something like Autoglym SRP now and again. You only need to look into agressive cleaning products if you let it get into too much of a state.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Perhaps you could seal/wax your tips? Can you do this?  :sad: :undecided:

Yes of course.. Belgom Alu is a metal polish with added wax, although any wax or sealant will suffice :)
