Hi Everyone,

Am new here...After many childhood dreams I have finally reached a point where I can buy my own GTI so I have just put a deposit down on a 2009 Mk5 Pirelli edition.

The car comes with a factory fitted RNS 510 sat nav unit but I failed to ask/notice what version this is and whether or not I can input 7 digit postcodes; any ideas?
Also does anyone know what version of maps should this come with and whether or not the disc should have come with the car (I have a feeling the current owner doesn't have it  :huh:)

Nice car you have bought yourself there, very exclusive club the Pirelli club! :wink:
The sat nav will only accept 4 digits for postcode but it is a great unit.
As for the latest revision, tbh I dont know but ideally the owner should have the original disc.
