Wheel pattern

Did all Golf mk4's have a 5x100 stud pattern? I've just brought a 1.6 SE 1998 reg MK4 and it's need new brake discs and pads for the MOT but I wasn't' sure if it was 4 or 5 stud pattern :smiley:
