ride height = unhappy!
« on: 05 March 2012, 17:39 »
aite fellas

before i start bear in mind i have no idea about these things, i just find out info, buy whats needed and hand it over to my brother in law who does all this kind of stuff! i would speak to him about it but i find it easier asking u lot lol!!!

ANYWAY... currently i'm lowered 40mm on springs but im not happy with how the front sits! here are a few pics (they are old)

in the pics it looks like it sits pretty nicely, but the reality is the front looks horrible, as for the back, im happy enough with how it sits but i'd still like to go slightly lower.

think ive read somewhere that if you go lower than 40mm its can lead to problems?

so suggestions pls fellow members...

have a search, basically the arb goes over the top of the drive shaft, when you lower it the arb gets closer to the driveshaft untill it cant get any closer and is sat on it.

tt arb
r32 arb
anni arb
octavia vrs arb
whiteline arb

all the above go under the driveshaft so no rubbing problems. possibly a few more i have missed off though.

but as i said have a search, been covered hundreds of times
