Anniversary prices
« on: 04 March 2012, 00:37 »
I've been looking around for an Anniversary, preferably diesel, but the prices seem to be quite high compared to what's said in the Parkers guide.

I've been looking at one in immaculate condition with both camshaft and cambelt changed which I know is important on the 150 models. 118,000 on the clock.  The price is £4,500.

Is that good?

I suppose it's all supply and demand. I'd there's not that many around in good condition then people can charge a lot more. Just wondering if it's worth paying that kind of money for a 10 year old car.

yeah for an anni with 100ish k your going to be looking 4500-5500.

if it was me as said by rich ide be going for the 150 gti or if you can find one get the one with the anni engine. that will leave you 3k ish to do anything that you want with, just my opinion, but if your wanting an anni then go for it

Thanks for this. I think I'm going to stop thinking about an Anni and actually stop thinking about changing my MK3 16V GTI altogether. Looking at how much I would get for my car it's simply not work selling it
