Passenger side engine mount

How much movement should there be? the part im talkin about looks like this:

Just one each side, then the dog bone mount underneath.

well i can push my engine back (not pull forwards) by about 3-4 inches, this normal?

I'd say that's excessive movement; it should barely move at all!

its an original VW part aswel 

just been reading up on the THS part but cant find prices!

doesn't look like they do a mount for a 1.6?? Unless they are all the same

doesn't look like they do a mount for a 1.6?? Unless they are all the same 

they all look the same as mine, will check with my mates GTI tonight

vw spares (avsparts) do engine mounts.. dont know what make they are.. have got laods other parts off them and they always same manufacturer as dealers use so they should be ok.. there about 30-40 quid too
