TBH I would work weekends at uni back then.
leave 8.00pm Saturday night, drive all the way over to East london load up two luton vans with heavy leather goods and market gear, hit the sack about 2.00am then get up 5.00am drive down to Wembley market.
Unload the market gear set up the bars tarpin would be about two hours work lifting heavy bars then unload the stock which would be another two hours. Then hit 9.00am and start to sell stuff to flashy ladies with knockers, repeat the whole process after work get paid £60! It just covered rent on the sh!thole we called student housing!
The only fun bit was having the other guys chat sh!t all day and doing pull up competitions on the bars to warm up during winter

Lunch break what lunch breaks? We got more money if we sold more, but it was grulling!
I few of my mates wanted to make money they didn't last the day!
What did it teach me?
You work harder than anyone else because when you hit low its low!
