Projector phones have been out for aaaaages.... I don't think anyone mainstream has dare release one until now though.

There was a camcorder with a projector built in a while ago and that flopped.

Agreed if the price tag is high which it will be I would rather convert a USB into a HDMI port stick through a LCD TV?
Most people in business use laptops via projector so any practical application would be limited!
Its like having 3D on my phone its the least bit interesting about the phone but a big marketing point on the phone?

Saw this at the mobile world congress last year. Very cool idea and amazing what you can fit into such a small amount of space.

Issue being is its brightness, but I'm sure thatl improve vastly in no time
