New car

The lease on my current Mk5 gti ends in December and im dreaming about my next car already! I know its still 9 months away, but what do you reckon I will be able to get for £13k from the Stealers in December this year? At the moment im thinking probably a 2008 Mk5 gti with circa 50k. I think a Mk6 would still be a little bit out of my price range?
I paid £13k for my 2006 Mk5 gti with 51k on the clock in March 2010 from the Stealers. Peoples thoughts and opinions would be appreciated. Cheers

I'd absolutely love an ED30! What sort of age and mileage do you think I could get? Cheers

Do you have to buy from the stealers? You get so much more car privately and if it has been well looked after and a has a full history you'll probably be absolutely fine.

Unfortunately Stealers are only option for me. Ive got a £3k deposit and I get £285.00 car allowance from work per month, so leasehire from the Stealers is the only way that makes a Gti affordable.

You get a similar car budget to me from work, I took out a £9k loan bought an 08 plate gti over three years, budget pays my loan payments and I end up with a fully paid gti after three years which I hope wll still be worth £5-6k.

08-58 with a good ammount of toys. Private will get u a better deal. Dealer on the above spec will still ask for more I expect!
You will find an ed30 for the dollar your prepared to spend... Dealers will have some available....

Yeah I like leasehire because you get a new car after 3 yrs. I prefer this to say owning the car after 3 years with a loan. Cheers for the input vw russ.
Spot on, im looking forward to getting an ED30 already! Cheers saint Steve
