GTD Remap - Void Warranty?

Hello,

if i get my GTD Remapped will it void my warranty?

Depends if you tell them or not..........it will only affect your engine and not the rest of the car

Even if something does go wrong they would have to prove it was down to the remap.  99.9% of failures are down to weak components anyway.

I wouldn't worry about it  :smiley:

Cus if I decided to get mine remapped I would only choose Carbon...but it's a good 4hrs to Manchester...

You don't have to tell them their diagnosic will then them if its been rechipped.

It will depend on what the warranty claim is for. Warranty claims are for weak components but your chipping it that will make it even weaker.

You may as well go for the plugin box the then can unplug it if it has to go back for a warranty claim as the plugin boxes don't write to the ecu there is won't be picked up.

DTUK Golf 2.0TDI upto 205PS.
