handbrake guide tube
« on: 01 March 2012, 14:08 »
On removing the handbrake cable it had pretty much corred into the tube. Got it all off and ready to refit but im strugging to get the guide tube back in place. I take it it goes through the rubber grommit. Anyone got a pic of the underside without the exhaust so I can get a clearer pic in my head?  Im certainly not gonna start removing the exhaust etc lol

Yep, and it was a pig to get it back in

It fits through the rubber boot and the only way to do it was to take the centre console out so you can see what you are doing and make sure the rubber gaitor is sealed correctly .
