Had to jb weld the sump plug in the other one as the threads felt like they pulled out, didn't even do it up tight and it spun  :shocked: mind you, it's held up really well... Drove it to Paris without any problems!!!!!

Might helicoil the old one and keep for a spare or sell it??!!!

I see. How many miles has yours done? will be interesting to see what the pick up is like  :smiley:

How hard is it to change a sump? Literally bolt off bolt on? Hope the weather holds out for you!! :smiley:

The little round thing in the pic is an oil pick up pipe, it can get blocked and can lower oil pressure  :smiley:

Easy bolt on and seal up when refitting  :smiley:

Is that 78000 cant quite see!

Sealant dries quickly so you have apply it fast. Then leave it for 30min before filling with oil.

ok thanks for the advice... the selent isnt from vw i dont want to run it too quick befor it dries!!!!!
