I've always loved golfs since I was a kid, but never owned one. Last year, my daewoo was smashed up by an old lady and I bought a mk3 tdi with the insurance money. So far I have added some momo alloys, a towbar for a bike rack and a new front panel which was rusty. All this came from a mate who had a mk3 that he was scrapping and was kind enough to let me pinch the best bits.
The plans are to get a new front bumper, as the original one has had a shunt, chip her and then maybe replace the suspension for something that actually works. Also I'd like to touch up some of the bodywork and then bring the colour back to it's original glory.
I hope I can learn from this forum as it will be my first time doing up a car.
