Too many foregn players suffocating the progress of all the talented english players in my opinion. The current mob of english internationals are overpaid for what they are and under achieve at this level. Have been impressed with Parker this season though out of all the english midifielders. Well except Scholes.

I know we lost tonight but I actually enjoyed watching them. Well in the first half, I went to play footy after and I come back and it's 2-0!!

Funny how Parker and Wellbeck were the only two English players who gave a s**t !!!!!  Pearce is not the Man for the job and never will be. Granted he is English through and through but not talented enough. To me the game was a complete waste of everyones time....the only thing we learned was without a decent Manager we have little self belief and play crap !!!!

I think wellbeck was crap tbh. Parker was Awsome in the first half, but can't remember his name being mentioned in the second half. Pierce is a good manager, but not what England need right now. Suggestions that hes not achieved enough and not proud enough are tosh, yeah he scored a penalty for himself, but that was an era when it actually still mattered to be called upon for your country, and financial gains were few and far between.

no one said he wasnt proud enough. my point was, proud is all he is!!

like i said he hasnt even played at the highest level, tactically lacking, poor communication skills, and proven to buckle under pressure. the fa need to go back to work and realise they need the best man available for the job.... and that man certainly isnt english  :lipsrsealed:

in truth the money the players get paid for internationals is peanuts compared to what their clubs play. i know where my loyalty would be...

I do agree Stuart Pearce wants to succeed but he is lacking. He knows very little about top level Management and will never succeed as a top Manager. However the best man for the job is most definitely English. Sir Harry Redknapp has been great at EVERY club he has managed at. He has a knack for making ordinary players play the best football of their careers and builds a good attacking football team wherever he goes. He commands respect from players and fans across the country and will be the best English Manager since Sir Bobby Robson if he gets the job. I for one hope he gets the job as there are no other English Managers who deserve the job yet and apart from the special one from Madrid there is no one else with the required know how for such a demanding job.

As for pay.....wearing an England shirt should be an honour as it was in Bobby Robsons days. Every player should be waiting for the phone call to say they are in the squad regardless of how much they earn at club level. Thats the problem with English football nowadays, the pride has been replaced with cash.
