fitted the ITG i bough from sunday driver over the weekend.

car has gained noticeable top end and sounds a bit naughty now. lots of turbo sound and whooshing and fluttering etc

its pretty loud intake, especially at high RPMs but the top end improvement seems worth it.

Have you had your car remapped? I think that intake needs a remap to get the best out of it. Although experts may pop along and advise for a fact.

The filter will make the most of the remap and is not worth the expense in isolation unless you just want the wooshing noise  Need to add an exhaust too so you can get the gases out  So you might aswell go for stage 2

takes literally 10 minutes to fit. the standard air box is only held on by 4 screws (including 2 for the MAF), 1 bolt and a couple of rubber press studs.

fitted no problem at all. i cleaned and re oiled the filter as i bought it used and though it was clean-ish it was worth cleaning.

car is stage 1 with milltek cat back so intake should (and feels like it does) give good gains though on a standard engine maybe only a few bhp i don't know.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I ave bought Kenny's Carbonio intake and CBE and wanted to check if I can run these for a few months without a remap having been carried out?

Will the car still run ok, or will the filter upset the mixture levels, i appreciate the CBE will clearly have little to no effect.

Any input/ experience appreciated, thanks
