Mk3 VR6 - side mirrors and sunroof not working

My friend has just brought a MK3 VR6 and the side mirrors are not working at all - what should we look at - to check what the problem is?

Also the sunroof doesn't work properly - it opens upwards fine, but when trying to get it to go backwards into the roof area - it stops after about an 1 inch opening? Is this just were the runners need cleaning or WD40'ing?

Any help would be good?

I would look into fuses if both mirrors are not working.

As for the sunroof, open it up and spray wd40 on the runners that you will see and then try opening and shutting it a few times to see if it gets any easier

Also oil light has come on today and the oil is not leaking and is showing to Max level - might be relay - can you check that in book too? thanks.

I will have a look but the oil light also indicates low oil pressure

yeah I know that - going to get mate to get that checked tomorrow - that one is a bit serious if it is low pressure.

Had feedback - there was no water in the car - filled up - oil light gone out - advised to put coolant in with water as well - this evening. Wotto do you know the measure of coolant to water? thanks.
