My new MK3
« on: 27 February 2012, 14:16 »
Hi There!

My name is ANdy and i bought this mk3 8v yesterday for £580 (and my rusty old escort cab) Im the 4th owner of this and have receipts from new and also VW sevicing stamps up until 2002

It has

Aircon
Electric windows all round and sunroof
trip meter thingie
and a cat 1 toad full closure alarm

Take a look  :smug:

So Im not really into making the ground close to the bottom of the car and making the speddbumps harder than they are.. I like things to look normal and tidy so i could say im a purist (sorry)

Im firsty gonna get some black trim for the interior around the stereo as someone has painted it silver (i understand the 16v had this?)
and also a lot of swirl scratches that need to be removed (anyone know a good product for this?)
Need to get some wheel centres as mine have faded/weathered

YEAH! anyway let me know what you think and if you have any nice littel touches i could add

Andy

Welcome...

Looks pretty damn tidy...  Only nice touch I can see right now is those horridly painted heater controls... other than that, looks nice.

Yeh she is pretty tidy.. saw her in a garage when i actually went to look at a calibra 2.0 but the boot was a pond so took a look at this and i dont think the bloke knew what he was doing.. so i took advantage and ripped him off.. makes up for all the people he has probably ripped off with his sheds
