Does anyone know if the exhaust tips on the mk 6 ed35 can be removed...

on the GTI the trim is welded onto the pipe
i suppose you could grind the weld and remove them

They are the same as the GTI and they can't be removed unless you get a axe to them
If you don't like them, your next option is to get a cat-back exhaust.
