right guys i am new to this forum so hope i can get some help,
i have a 2000 model golf 1.8 20v turbo,my girlfriend went to use the car and came back in saying the engine would not pull,so went ouside and tried the car myself and when i went to set of it would not rev proper,it was missing like it was not getting any fuel when trying to set of but on tick over it was fine,so i drove it onto the drive and lifted the bonnet to see if i could see if any pipes ect had come of,could not see anything so shut bonnet drove of drive and tried it again and it was running perfect again.has anybody ever had this happen to them,or do any of you guys no what i should look for fault wise incase it happens again,also the service light is on could this be anything to do with it,any help would do the world of good.thanks ste
