what a day :|
« on: 25 February 2012, 17:21 »
so today i got up early and took the car for a spin in the sun. decided to take the car to be washed ready to polish her up. when pulling out the car wash my radiator blew up. :( i got the car towed home ready for inspection. after i had taken the bumper off i noticed the front impact bar behind the bumper was stoved in meaning my car has been front ended at some point in its life and not recorded. and to ad insult to injury every bolt was seized and corroded to hell and the air con. don't get me started about that! what a bad day! :(

Well,  a rad is relativly cheap, easy to fit,  its not all bad,  and the front end...  the fact the origonal cross member is still there says it wasnt a bad smack,  replace, move on... all good!   (this is your injection of positivity for the day)

... Oh then give her that polish she deserves.

Got the new rad in last night and the car put back together. Can anyone tell me what temp the aux fans should kick in? Just when I was reconnecting all the wires I noticed that the connecter pinsfor the sensor on the radiator were heavly corroded and am guessing this tells the fans to kick in once the car reaches a high temp?
