That's a Passat. Honestly It is quite challenging. If it was me I'd be glad someone saved my dogs life even if it meant getting a new window*. Dogs aren't just material assets. *Disclaimer: I don't have a dog so don't smash my window.
Knowing my luck, I'd do that and the owner would have only popped in to tesco to get some cigarettes or something!
