what black is mine (confused)

as per title ive looked under bonnet and in boot for something to give me my colour code and cant find anything please help as theres 4 blacks which ive found listed on this site, mine is defo not pearl so can rule one out is there a certain black on a certain year mines a 2000 x plate.  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

choices are

LO41=BLACK
LA9V=BRILIANT BLACK
LC9Y=LUXURY BLACK HELIOS
LC9Z=BLACK MAGIC PEARL     "MINE ISNT PEARL THOUGH DEFO FLAT BLACK"

Will be either l041 straight black or lc9z black magic i would have thought.does it look metalic with little flecks?should be on sticker under carpet next to spare wheel.

its a flat black no flakes in paint for sure will look again in boot didnt reliase i had to look at boot floor DOH!!!!!!!!! me stupid just looking for some sort of plate not under carpet thanks for advice.  :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:

it will deffo be there under carpet,u know wot codes to look for to.no worries mate :smiley:

Isn't the paint code in the chassis number, think its called the chassis number, the one you can see through the clear part of the scuttle panel...

I'm sure there is a post someone on here or ukmkivs that tells you how to get your paint code out of that number.  :undecided:
