Knocking from the back

GRRRRRRRRR i have a knocking sound from the back of my car, it only happens when i go to pull away, and it makes just one loud "knock" it doesnt do it when i go over any bumps or anything, looked under the car and cant see anything loose, i even gave the backbox a wobble and thats not loose could be the middle section?

My back drivers suspension is a bit creaky, but has been like that for ages as i bent some bracket, but i only bent it a little bit, just near the edge, but iam wondering if that mite be the cause 

Maybe tomorrow i could see if i could take some photos of underneath the car.

 actually iam now having second thoughts if its the back or front now, its hard to pin point where its coming from, also over speed bumps there is a very quite knock now.... bl00dy car, i get one thing sorted then something else happens, whatever it is tho i know its caused by the hundreds of nasty speed bumps round my area n pot holes

hello mate, i had a similar problem where the car would make a bump noise at irregular times. In the end it was the suspension bush (rubber) that was worn but on my car it was fairly obvious from  where it came from.

 yeah i found out what the knocking noise was, i had my cambelt changed and the idiots at the garage didnt do the engine mount up tight enough so it was moving around to much when i pulled away, think it was knocking the exhaust underneath.
