Early 8v GTI prices??

Hi guys wanting to pick your brains on how much you would price a 1985 8v in silver,average condition excellent interior and 97k miles.i have all service history and mots and the car is completely standard with p slots

Your help would be appreciated

Depends entirely on rot which is often hidden. Anything from £500 to £2K I'd say. Quite an unusual colour for an early one.

Thanks Nick I've priced it at 1350 doesn't seem to be any rot I've inspected underneath

same colour as mine and same milage but mine is a e reg 88 with full history from new and 3 owner from new.

Have you inspected under the arch spats and behind the lower exhaust heatshield which secures to the bulkhead, as in my experience 8v's rot there?
