nurburgring hotels

who recomends were?

few of us going over in 5 weeks and need to get a hotel booked for 1 night, not to fussed about 5* bla bla bla, prefer not to stay in a sh!t hole but the cheeper the better, and preferably near the ring.

were did youse stay?

Hotel an der Nordschleife.

Pricey, but Eddy is very helpful and it's a good breakfast. Bed's are comfortable too. It's a shame they have put up the sound deadening around the track as it's limited the view from his rooms a bit, but there's still a decent track view.

ring haus, stayed there twice, its cheap cheerful think the owner is called claus or summat, everythings pork on the menu but the beer is good and its 30 seconds from the track entrance, a hangover isnt so bad when you get waken up by sweet sounding cars roaring down the main straight.

ah cheers for the suggestions lads, my mates just rang me and said hes booked the hotels. seems to be a decent deal, 25 quid each including breaky and that, cant complain :D
