Strange problem with lights

In the last few days I have started having some strange problems with some of my lights.

I have LED side lights and number plate lights (fitted with resistors to prevent faults) and they have been working fine for over 18 months. In the last few weeks I keep getting different light faults (lamp out error messages). Sometimes it will be front left parking (sidelight), front right sidelight or the number plate lights but at some point or other they are all working!

Has anyone got any ideas?

i get the same problem and i dont have any custom LED's.  Warning light comes on for a day or two and then goes off again.  Usually check all the bulbs and they are always fine.

when ever iv had this on vags
i pull the bulb and clean the connectors sorts them out
