Heated seats issue
« on: 21 February 2012, 12:34 »
ok today i sorted out my heated seats.

Took out the clocks to see the multiplug thing.

I had green,grey and brown.

Brown into brown, grey into grey and green into green.

Checked it all before i put the clocks back in and everything was connected and in the right place.

When i mute the stereo i can hear the relays clicking, yet the seats don't seem to warm up.

How long should they take to heat up?

and is there anything i should check??

Its definitely not instant!

On my drive to work which is 10-15 minutes they are warm by a third of the way and I turn them off after 2 thirds, or at least turn them down.

ah ok. I'll test them later. i'll be driving back from wycombe at about midnight with my friend and she's always moaning she's cold so she should feel the difference quicker than me
