Its only a extra £300 to add to get yours done :/ in the frate sheme of things it seems a good idea :/

But im unsure tbh :/

Sell the 312mm???

U got bigger brakes?

Shell comes with 312mm fronts and 256 vented rears so will have a 312mm setup spare.

The 1k for respray would be blow over i expect, really dont know about this stuff to be honest.

The point i am trying to get at is once i have sold all the bits off i dont need, i would be ending up with a freshly painted shell for about £150 if that, possibly even making money

Im not usually logical lol, but think ive worked this out right..

lol first job is get your engine out. Might be worth having a look at the exhaust housing on your K03s and seeing if it's worth swapping it over on the K04-001 :smug:

Well Wayne, black one has no engine in it atall..

Still registered but sorn.

Insurance wise, would advise of engine change..

Wes, hasn't hot side on ko3s got a smaller turbine wheel in?

Did see it on ed38 and it is a 1.6, just wondered about the insurance as your going from a modified 1.8t to a 1.6 with a engine conversion, you may need an engineers report.

It's actually registered as a 1.4 on logbook still, which not too keen on but I will be sorting that anyway?

Wouldn't I just ring insurance company when done and tell them what I've done and swap it over?

I doubt it will be as simple as that, your going to insuring a 1.4 that has been converted to a 1.8t, they will I suspect ask for an engineers report stating the standard of work that has been carried out.

You might be best asking them first as to do all the work and then find the insurance company start to play silly games would not be clever.
