I just hate how the mk4 has devalued, what 3 years ago they were 4k easy, now 1.5-2k for a good one and most are utter rubbish and slow for a less proce

Yet the AGU is a good car and you do stand to loose a bit by changing cars especially the attachment you make with some cars, in particularly when they are reliable.
Thought with DVLA you fill a form, supply evidence of conversion etc and sometimes they request a VIC test for £40 to verify parts where installed with provided details and non stolen parts, but this is more common with write-offs.
I got some long a$$ email from the DVLA where I inquired about engine transplants and kit cars, yet they where useless and left grey area's in a lot of questions and told me F'all regarding engine transplants. All I did learn was the 4.2L audi v8 99reg is only £250 to road tax
