I've been reading this forum for sometime, finally decided to get on board ....
I need a few advices from the more experienced re-map users ..
I have a 2008 Gti Ed30, 5 -door manual ... It has around 70.000 km right now ... Only thing changed so far, blow off valve ..
I got 2 REVO dealers available near close ...
Now, in some of these treads, I'm seeing that people are saying there has been a mix reviews for REVO...
Honestly, I wasn't able to find a single one that's negative, especially for ED30 ...
Most of the people here with ED30 are with DSG, and both of the Revo dealers I contacted, one of them said that I get get around 305 bhp, where the other one told me I can expect between 290-295 from Stage 1 for the manual version ...
My question are what will be a good set of number on fuel, air for the Manual version?
Is there any part that I should change after the remap, or pay a close attention to it?
How will these affect the fuel economy?
I'm newbie over a remap, but most of the people I've talk to, they are saying it safe to go with Revo Stage 1 without any part upgrades on that engine with K04...
I would really appreciate your opinion on this matter, and if I missed something, please free to throw me some advice ...
