« on: 17 February 2012, 09:44 »
Hi all, just picked up a 2007 gti yesterday, but am having problems with the ipod. Its in the centre armrest, but can seem to get it to play through the CD player? Im wondering if im doing something wrong? (Its ipod nano 5th generation, if that helps).

have you pressed aux on the cd player?

if its an old VW ipod kit, it wont charge it by the way, as Apple changed which pin charges it about 3-4 years ago, i.e. after VW made their kits.

Change the headunit if its a standard cd player. Better sound constant charge and control. SD,iPod,iPhone, USB and DVD??

And I can recommend the Pioneer AVH4200DVD all for £350
