Your ED35 looks great . Not a fan of the Leon in this guise last one was much nicer. Front end of the Leon looks really high off the ground compared  I have driven a Leon recently and it drives very similarly to the Golf but the interior really let's it down.
Current: GTI Edition 35 Candy White 5dr DSG 19" Glendale, RCD510+DAB, Dynaudio, Storage Pack, Parking Sensors

Gone: Edition 35, GTI Mk6, Edition 30, GTI Mk4, GTI Mk3, GTI Mk2 and my favourite the UR quattro

I have driven a Leon recently and it drives very similarly to the Golf but the interior really let's it down.

I'll echo that. I drove a FR 2.0 TFSI DSG recently, and whilst it was a cracking car, it was let down by it's interior. You'd feel pretty short changed in the Leon compared to the Mk5 Golf it dates back to, let alone a Mk6.

I used to have a Mk4 Golf GTI and changed it for a Leon Cupra in 2002. I gained 30 PS, another cog in the gearbox and a few other extras, but the quality of the interior felt like a step backwards.

Having said that, I guess it's all reflected in the price.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Im not a fan of the mk2 leon much prefer the mk1 myself.
I like the mk1 leon over the mk4 golf too as it does not have the problem of touch feal plastics degrading and turning into a sticky nasty pealing mess. The mk1 having the audi A3 dashboard i also liked.
The mk2 leon is why i own a mk6 golf it was just too Mr potato head looking for me and had far too many blind spots. Im looking forward to seeing what the new leon eventually turns out like. Apart from that the leon is actually better painted and engineering finished than the Golf imo just the interior plastics are inferior feeling. But then you could probably buy 1.5+ FRs for the price of an Ed35
