Update Edition 35 Keyring
« on: 16 February 2012, 01:16 »
Royally bored of this subject now tbf lol

Recap

I asked the dealer about the keyring on pick up , he'd not heard of it nor knew it was part of the spec.

So i made him aware he said ill get one ordered and send it to you...............A month goes by i must of phoned the dealer 9 10 times (he's not in today , hes on the phone blah blah he will call u back .....Nothing.

So i called up Vw customer services who are very loyal to there word (in my cases) in calling back and dealing with your matters swiftly.

So after they liased with the dealer who liased with vw marketing somewhere who then liased back to customer services who then rang me....(breath)

Ok sir the keyring will be sent out to you they were just waiting for enough cars to be brough before then send them all out to the owners.

So apparently its a automated thing and everyone who owns a ED35 should have one sent out to them in due time.

I was at work and didnt have time to ask more details about a bloody keyring but like i said before if i brought a cake i wouldnt expect to have to wait for the icing to turn up in the post a month later. Why cant they just of stuck it in the glovebox in the factory job done.

Ive had more phone calls about a bloody keyring than i have with personal calls in the past month lol! anyway.....

So thats my story

Hope we all receive them!

ps. in my haste and ocd'ness i brought one off e bay cos i couldnt wait and it turned up in 5 days VW cant even return a call within 5 days sometimes, unless your buying a car they dont wanna know i feel used lol

FFS not this fecking drivel again

You "Dear Mr VW I didn't get my Edition 35 keyring so I'm going to sulk and write pathetic posts on the GTI Forum until I bore the poor tossers on there.

Mr VW "f**k off and grow up and just get on with driving your car with a normal keyring, we're far too busy building cars to be bothered with this kind of sh!te"

Reminds me of the Edition 30 Plaque nonsense  If and when my keyring turns up it will be put in draw and forgotten about as I don't use keyrings
