Look fine to me...although not really similar I had the same treatment when began working at Kwik-Fit a good few years ago. Yes Kwik-Fit, a sugar house tyre and exhaust centre. First day the regional manager had a go at me for having a bit of stubble and my hair was a bit messy. Wasn't long or that just thick as it was winter and like to have a warm head in a place were there are no heaters. Also had a go for not having the top button on my overalls done up. Was young a bit naive and told him basically to do one and stop picking at me. He was going to fire me but the depot manager talked him out of it as we were short staffed as nobody wanted to work for Kwik-Fit at the time, I wonder why!!!

I'm so glad i'm self employed these days as hate dealing with those sort of people. Dispise having to suck up or please others just to earn a wage.

If i were you i tell them to get a grip as you look fine for your position. Although I wouldn't recommend it just in case. Go in tommorow with a mohawk, bad tatoo and a nose ring and make a stand lol.

Whats the point, I work in a factory where the temperature in production ranges from 40 degrees to 60 degrees so 30 mins after starting work you stink. Plus am a mechanical fitter/technician so get covered in oil, grease, dust and grime. I have a shower as soon as I get home.
