Get a haircut you bum!

So pleased i work in engineering,i dont think i could handle getting suited and booted everyday and being criticised for not having the correct knot in my tie!
In fact you get grief in most of the places i work if your not scruffy/covered in oil as it looks like youve not done bugger all

God bless manual labour/being on the tools.

I think you look fine to be quite honest though. :smug:

It's possible a customer you've had a meeting with may have mentioned something to him and he may feel obligated to persuade you to shave it off... if there is nothing in your contract about it, sod him, grow it a little longer

Good point, well put.

Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

I agree with him on the smoking, i am smoker but i don't smoke at work due to the fact it stinks.

There is nothing they can do about facial hair as far as i am aware or i would have used it on one of my employees as he has a full scruffy beard which just looks a mess plus he has a pony tail in a  plait

I did once have some tell me to have a shave wear i used to work but they probably had a point as i look odd when not clean shaven

you are on your trial period for this new job are you not ?   going out to meet clients etc .

if so  its time for a skin head horney and  be clean shaven, pop round I will sort it out for ya

or at least a good trim and a clean fresh face for a while,  :lipsrsealed:

I got pulled up on my hair and beard recently, so i have lost the LOT, bald eagle time

however  I think they may have prefered me with hair to be honest

You should see some of the scruffs I have to work with, your boss should come and see them and then he would know what untidy and unkempt might mean.

You look totally acceptable for the job you are in and your boss sound like a nit picking pompous areshole.

Do people even know what a full Windsor knot is these days?
My tie collection is extensive I haven't put one on in three years come to think about it!
